Why This Role Matters
This isn’t a traditional property management role.
As General Manager, you’ll take full ownership of a premium Build to Rent community, leading the onsite team while driving commercial performance, resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
You’ll be responsible for everything from occupancy and revenue through to team leadership, client relationships and creating a community where residents genuinely want to stay.

The Experience You Will Build Here
- Lead the operations of a flagship Build to Rent community
- Take ownership of occupancy, revenue, NOI and overall asset performance
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary onsite team across leasing, resident experience and maintenance
- Work directly with asset owners and senior stakeholders
- Influence leasing strategy, pricing, resident retention and long-term operational performance
- Gain exposure to one of Australia’s fastest-growing institutional residential sectors
The Perfect Fit
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a current Real Estate Licence
- Has leadership experience within residential property, Build to Rent, PBSA, hotels or a similar customer-focused asset
- Understands how to balance commercial performance with exceptional customer experience
- Is financially astute and comfortable managing budgets, reporting and asset performance
- Enjoys leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Is commercially minded and enjoys taking ownership of operational outcomes
Direct Build to Rent experience isn’t essential. What matters is your ability to lead people, deliver exceptional customer experiences and operate a premium residential asset with a strong commercial focus.
