Why This Role Matters

This is a front-line, resident-facing role within a professionally managed Build-to-Rent (BTR) community in Queensland. Working closely with the Resident Manager, the Resident Services professional plays a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong financial and compliance outcomes, and a consistently high-quality resident experience.

Blending hospitality-led service with structured property operations, this role is central to creating a well-run, compliant, and highly engaged residential community. It suits someone who takes pride in operational excellence while genuinely enjoying working with people.

The Experience You’ll Build Here

As Resident Services, you will act as an on-site representative responsible for the daily functioning of the asset and the experience of its residents. Your remit will include:

  • Supporting day-to-day building operations alongside the Resident Manager

  • Leasing coordination, resident onboarding, and retention initiatives

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant Queensland legislation, including:

    • Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008 (Qld)

    • Agents Financial Administration Act 2014 (Qld)

    • Property Occupations Act 2014 (Qld)

  • Oversight of Work Health & Safety and fire safety requirements

  • Acting as a key point of contact for residents, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism

  • Coordinating and hosting resident events to foster a connected, engaged community

  • Supporting occupancy, retention, and overall asset performance

This is a highly visible role that directly influences resident satisfaction and the long-term success of the asset.

The Perfect Fit

We’re open to two types of candidates:

  • Experienced property professionals with exposure to residential management, BTR, or co-living

  • Strong hospitality operators ready to transition into the BTR sector and apply their service and operational skills in a residential setting

To be successful, you will ideally bring:

  • Australian residency or full working rights

  • A Queensland Real Estate Registration Certificate

  • 2+ years’ experience in hospitality, residential management, co-living, or BTR operations

  • Confidence across leasing, compliance, and resident engagement

  • Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving ability

  • A proactive, resident-first mindset with high personal standards
